Mandai x Strait Lights - Rote Roti Turtle Bracelet

The Rote Island snake-necked turtle is one of the most threatened freshwater turtle species in the world. Driven to the brink by the illegal pet trade, it is considered functionally extinct in the wild.

Singapore Zoo houses Asia's only insurance colony for this species, playing a pivotal role in its survival. In 2021, 13 turtles made a landmark journey home to Indonesia - the first repatriation of its kind, marking a turning point in the fight to bring this species back from the edge.

This bracelet honours determination and hope.
